A Statement from The Honourable Joan Marie Aylward, O.N.L., Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador on 68th Session of the Commission on the Status of Women.

Local educators Dr. Linda Coles and Ms. Grace Hollett will attend the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW68) in New York City on March 11th-22nd, 2024.

Dr. Coles and Ms. Hollett, as members of the St. John’s CFUW (Canadian Federation of University Women), the National CFUW Education Committee, and the CFUW International Relations Committee (IR), will join policymakers, government officials, and activists from around the world to develop a set of commitments for achieving gender equality for government implementation, at the international, national, regional, and local levels.
