Their Honours will host a luncheon with the Governor General, Premier Dwight Ball and invited guests. Following the luncheon a tree will be planted on the grounds of Government House  in recognition of the Governor’s General’s visit to the province and Her Excellency’s passion for the environment.

As part of  the Governor General's first official visit to the province, Her Honour will be joining Her Excellency for a hike at the Signal Hill National Historic Site. Members of the public are invited to join them, and asked to meet at the Signal Hill Visitor Information Centre by 3:15 p.m., where the hike will begin.

As part of the Governor General's visit to Newfoundland and Labrador, there will be a free public concert by the Royal Newfoundland Regiment Band on the lawn of Government House. The public is advised to bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Their Honours and Premier Dwight Ball will host a reception for invited guests. Her Excellency will present honours to three individuals: - Mr. Augustine Dalton (posthumously), Meritorious Service Decoration - Bridgette Abbott, Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers - Kevin Dunphy, Sovereign’s Medal for Volunteers

Her Honour is joining the Governor General on her visit to Labrador. Her Honour will host a reception for invited guests at the Labrador Interpretation Centre.

The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award Annual General Meeting will take place at Government House. Her Honour is Honorary Chair of the  Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Program, Newfoundland and Labrador, Board of Directors.

Her Honour, as Honorary Patron of the YWCA, will host a Reception for invited members of the YWCA, following their Annual General Meeting at Government House.

Their Honours will attend the 16th annual Police and Peace Officers' Memorial Service, hosted by the Newfoundland and Labrador Police and Peace Officers' Memorial Association.
