On Friday, February 15, 2019 Her Honour The Honourable Judy M. Foote, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and His Honour Howard W. Foote will participate in Corner Brook Winter Carnival opening day events.

At 6:15 p.m. Their Honours will attend the Flag Raising and Torch Lighting at Corner Brook City Hall.

At 6:45 p.m. Their Honours will participate in the Torch Light People Parade from Corner Brook City Hall to Margaret Bowater Park.

At 7:15 p.m. Their Honours will participate in the official Opening Ceremony and the Party in the Park at Margaret Bowater Park, where Her Honour will bring greetings.
