Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Portrait Making its Way to Government House

Government House is looking forward to the arrival of the  Diamond Jubilee Portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The portrait, which has been on display in the Ballroom at Rideau Hall since 2012, is making its way to Newfoundland and Labrador as the first stop on a cross-country tour.  It will be on public display as of September 20 and will coincides with the first official visit to the province by  Her Excellency the Right Honourable Julie Payette, Governor General of Canada.
