  • Their Honours greet The Honourable Dr. Max House, the last Lieutenant Governor to host Her Majesty in Newfoundland and Labrador in June, 1997.

  • A Congratulatory Signing Book was launched on Feb. 6. Their Honours were the first to sign. The book will be available at Government House for the month of February for the public to sign. It will be forwarded to Her Majesty at the end of the year.

  • As part of the Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the Accession to the Throne of Queen Elizabeth II on February 6th, an exhibit of photographs and mementos from the four visits of Her Majesty was unveiled at Government House.
  • The exhibit is located in the outer lobby with four photo boards featuring visits in 1951, 1959, 1978 and 1997.
