Their Honours and Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal Attend Memorial Day Ceremony

On July 1st Their Honours and Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal, attended the Memorial Day Ceremony. His Honour laid a wreath on behalf of the people of Newfoundland and Labrador and Her Royal Highness, as Colonel in Chief, laid a wreath on behalf of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment. This year also commemorated the 100th Anniversary of Battle of Beaumont Hamel where the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and the then Dominion of Newfoundland had its darkest day of the Great War.
