Her Honour Commemorates the WPA

On October 2nd, Her Honour hosted a reception at Government House in Honour of the 100th Anniversary of the formation of the Patriotic Association of the Women of Newfoundland, later to become known as the WPA. Following the reception a plaque was unveiled and tree was planted on the Government House grounds.
