Monday, 14 June 2010

On Monday, 14 June 2010, at 2:30 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend a 100th Birthday celebration at Saint Luke’s Homes in honour of Mrs. Irene Millicent Butler.

At 5:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Reception at Government House for participants of the 2010 Conference of the National Association of Public Trustees and Guardians.

Tuesday, 15 June 2010

On Tuesday, 15 June 2010, at 10:30 a.m., Their Honours, Patrons of the Canadian Parents for French in Newfoundland and Labrador, will participate in the presentation of the CPF-NL Awards at a Ceremony at Government House. Following the Ceremony, The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Reception for invited guests.

Wednesday, 16 June 2010

On Wednesday, 16 June 2010, at 3:00 p.m., Their Honours will host a Reception at Government House for employees of Executive Council, as part of Public Service Week.

Thursday, 17 June 2010

On Thursday, 17 June 2010, at 10:00 a.m., The Lieutenant Governor will attend the Graduation Ceremony of the College of the North Atlantic, St. John’s Campus, at the Arts and Culture Centre. His Honour will present the Governor General’s Medal to the student with the highest academic standing for the Prince Philip Campus.

At 10:30 a.m., Her Honour will host the annual Government House Planting followed by a lunch for the volunteer gardeners.

At 7:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the opening of the exhibition “Here to Stay: Cupids 1610” at The Rooms.

Friday, 18 June 2010

On Friday, 18 June 2010, at 7:30 p.m., Their Honours will attend the Salvation Army Atlantic Congress and Commissioning Welcome Celebrations “Destiny…Hope for Tomorrow” at Mile One Centre.

Saturday, 19 June 2010

On Saturday, 19 June 2010, at 12 noon, The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Luncheon for invited guests at Government House in honour of General Shaw Clifton, International Leader of the Salvation Army.
