On Sunday, 18 April 2010, at 10:00 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie, will be guests of the Young Presidents Organization at a Brunch at the Sheraton Hotel Newfoundland. His Honour will be a guest speaker.

At 8:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the 2010 JUNO Awards at Mile One Centre, St. John’s.

Tuesday, 20 April 2010

On Tuesday, 20 April 2010, at 4:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Reception at Government House for invited volunteers in recognition of Volunteer Week 2010.

Thursday, 22 April 2010

On Thursday, 22 April 2010, at 4:15 p.m., His Honour, Honorary Colonel of The Royal Newfoundland Regiment, and Mrs. Crosbie will welcome to Newfoundland and Labrador Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal (Princess Anne), Colonel-in-Chief of the Regiment, who is participating in the Regiment’s 215th Anniversary Celebrations.

At 6:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Dinner for members of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment and other invited guests at Government House on the occasion of the visit of The Princess Royal.

Friday, 23 April 2010

On Friday, 23 April 2010, at 9:30 a.m., Their Honours will attend a Special Convocation in the D.F. Cook Recital Hall, Memorial University, at which an honorary doctor of laws degree will be conferred upon Her Royal Highness.

At 2:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor, Honorary Chair of the Provincial Council for The Duke of Edinburgh=s Award Program in Newfoundland and Labrador, and Mrs. Crosbie, in the presence of Her Royal Highness, will attend a Gold Award Ceremony at the Delta St. John’s Hotel and Conference Centre.

At 6:00 p.m., Their Honours will host a Reception at Government House for invited Royal Newfoundland Regiment Friends and Family on the occasion of the visit of The Princess Royal.

Saturday, 24 April 2010

On Saturday, 24 April 2010, at 9:30 a.m., The Lieutenant Governor, as Honorary Colonel of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, will participate in the Regiment’s ANZAC Day wreath-laying ceremony at Camp Pleasantville (Stobb’s Camp), the unveiling and dedication of The Camp Pleasantville Memorial Story Boards and the unveiling of a plaque to mark the establishment of the ‘Trail of the Caribou Park’ by Her Royal Highness.

At 1:30 p.m., Their Honours, in the presence of Her Royal Highness, Grand Master of the Royal Victorian Order, will host a Reception at Government House for members of the Order.

At 1:45 p.m., Her Royal Highness will plant a tree on Government House Grounds and inspect the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary Mounted Unit. Members of the public are invited to attend and should be in place by 1:30 p.m.

At 2:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the Consecration and Presentation of New Colours to the First Battalion of The Royal Newfoundland Regiment by Her Royal Highness, Colonel-in-Chief of the Regiment, at Mile One Stadium.

At 7:30 p.m., Their Honours will attend The Royal Newfoundland Regiment‘s 215th Birthday Dinner at the Delta St. John’s.

Sunday, 25 April 2010

On Sunday, 25 April 2010, at 9:00 a.m., The Lieutenant Governor & Mrs. Crosbie, in the presence of The Princess Royal, will attend a Regimental Church Service at the Anglican Cathedral of St. John the Baptist.

At 10:30 a.m., Their Honours, in the presence of The Princess Royal, will attend a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Caribou Memorial, Bowring Park.

At 12:45 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will bid farewell to Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal at St. John’s International Airport, upon her departure from Newfoundland and Labrador.
