On Monday, 2 November 2009, at 5:15 p.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend the Official Ceremony to welcome to Canada and to Newfoundland and Labrador Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales & The Duchess of Cornwall, at the start of the 2009 Royal Visit to Canada, at Mile One Centre, St. John’s. The Ceremony is open to the public.

On Tuesday, 3 November 2009, at 7:30 p.m., His Honour and The Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, The Honourable Danny Williams, will host a Reception for invited guests at The Rooms on the occasion of the visit to Newfoundland and Labrador by Their Royal Highnesses The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall.

On Wednesday, 4 November 2009, at 10:00 a.m., Their Royal Highnesses will each plant a tree on Government House Grounds. All members of the public are encouraged to attend and should be in place by 9:45 a.m.
At 10:45 a.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will participate in a wreath laying ceremony by His Royal Highness at the National War Memorial.
At 12:30 p.m. , Their Honours will bid farewell to Their Royal Highnesses at St. John’s International Airport, upon their departure from Newfoundland and Labrador.
