On Tuesday, 26 May 2009, at 10:00 a.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend the Administration of the Oaths of Office to The Honourable J. Derek Green as Chief Justice of Newfoundland and Labrador and to The Honourable David B. Orsborn as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Newfoundland and Labrador Trial Division, at the Court House on Duckworth Street.
At 3:00 p.m., Their Honours will attend the afternoon session of the Spring 2009 Convocation of Memorial University of Newfoundland at the Arts and Culture Centre.
At 7:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Dinner for invited guests at Government House in honour of recently retired Chief Justice of Newfoundland and Labrador, The Honourable Clyde K. Wells.

On Wednesday, 27 May 2009, at 12:30 p.m., Their Honours will host a Luncheon at Government House for the recipients of honorary degrees at Memorial University’s Spring 2009 Convocation, and other invited guests.

From Thursday, 28 May, to Saturday, 31 May 2009, The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will be in Iqaluit, Nunavut, to participate in the annual Conference of Lieutenant Governors and Commissioners.

On Friday, 29 May 2009, at 8:00 p.m., Their Honours will attend the 9th annual LaFontaine Baldwin lecture at the Inuksuk High School in Iqaluit.
