On Friday, 15 May 2009, at 2:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host a Ceremony for invited guests at Government House as the Newfoundland Pony Society unveils a Canada Post stamp to recognize two endangered equine species, the Newfoundland Pony - a Provincial Heritage Animal, and the Canadian Horse.

On Saturday, 16 May 2009, at 10:45 a.m., Her Honour will attend the Ladies Luncheon at City Hall to celebrate the 100 years of service of the Knights of Columbus in Newfoundland and Labrador.
