On Monday, 23 March 2009, at 1:30 p.m., Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host an Afternoon Tea at Government House for spouses of participants of the Canadian Police Curling Championship.

On Wednesday, 25 March 2009, at 10:00 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will prorogue the First Session of the Forty-Sixth General Assembly of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador at the House of Assembly.
At 1:35 p.m., His Honour will inspect a Guard of Honour from the Canadian Forces and the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary at the Confederation Building.
At 2:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor will read the Speech from the Throne to open the Second Session of the Forty-Sixth General Assembly of the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador at the House of Assembly.
Following the Throne Speech, Their Honours will host a Reception at Government House for Members of the Vice-Regal Entourage and other invited guests.

On Thursday, 26 March 2009, at 12:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Luncheon at Government House for the 2008 Winterset Award finalists and other invited guests.
At 4:00 p.m., His Honour will present the 2008 Winterset Award at a Ceremony at Government House. Following the Ceremony, he and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Reception for invited guests.

On Friday, 27 March 2009, at 7:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor, Honorary Colonel of the Royal Newfoundland Regiment, and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Reception for invited guests at Government House in honour of the Officers and Senior NCO’s participating in the 37 Canadian Brigade Group Commander’s Conference.

On Saturday, 28 March 2009, at 6:45 p.m., Their Honours will attend the 37 Canadian Brigade Group Commander’s Conference Mixed Dining-In at the Fort Pepperrell Mess.
