On Sunday, 1 March 2009, at 5:00 p.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will attend a reception hosted by The Premier, The Honourable Danny Williams, at the Pepsi Centre, Corner Brook, in celebration of the 2009 East Coast Music Awards, Festival and Conference at the Pepsi Centre.
At 6:00 p.m., His Honour will attend the ECMA Music Awards Gala at the Pepsi Centre.
Monday, 2 March 2009
On Monday, 2 March 2009, at 5:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will join BMO Financial Group and their guest of honour David Blackwood at the unveiling of special artwork dedicated to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador and marking Newfoundland and Labrador’s diamond anniversary in Confederation, at The Rooms.

On Tuesday, 3 March 2009, at 11:00 a.m., His Honour will receive at Government House Commander G.L. (Gary) Reddy, CD, Commanding Officer Regional Cadet Support Unit (Atlantic).

On Wednesday, 4 March 2009, at 4:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor will present Canadian Forces Liaison Council Recognition Certificates to employers in Newfoundland and Labrador who employ and provide special benefits to military reservists, at a Ceremony in Government House. Following the Ceremony, he and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Reception for invited guests.

On Thursday, 5 March 2009, at 10:30 a.m., His Honour, Honorary Patron of The Canadian Red Cross, Newfoundland and Labrador Region, and Mrs. Crosbie will participate in a Ceremony at Government House to launch March as Red Cross Month, and will host a Reception for invited guests.

On Friday, 6 March 2009, at 10:00 a.m., The Lieutenant Governor will participate in the presentation of Awards to Student Honorees of the Volunteer Incentive Program of Memorial University of Newfoundland at a Ceremony at the Confederation Building.
