On Sunday, 15 February 2009, at 2:00 p.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will attend and His Honour will preside over a Citizenship Ceremony at the Tattoo Training Facility, Signal Hill Visitor Centre. Following the Ceremony, Mr. Crosbie will join with two of the new Canadian citizens to cut Canada’s 44th Anniversary National Flag of Canada Cake.

On Monday, 16 February 2009, at 2:00 p.m., Her Honour will officially open Women's Institutes Week at a Ceremony in Government House and will host a Reception for members and invited guests.
