On Sunday, 13 December 2009, at 2:00 p.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador and Honorary Colonel of The Royal Newfoundland Regiment, will attend the 1st Battalion Christmas Dinner at the Fort Pepperell Mess, Pleasantville.

On Monday, 14 December 2009, at 10:00 a.m., His Honour will administer the Oath of Allegiance to Sandy Collins as Member of the House of Assembly for Terra Nova at a Ceremony at Government House. Following the Ceremony, The Lieutenant Governor and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will hold a Reception for invited guests.
At 2:30 p.m., Their Honours will make a Christmas visit to the residents and staff of Masonic Park Senior Citizens Home.

On Tuesday, 15 December 2009, at 2:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will make a Christmas visit to the residents and staff of St. Patrick’s Mercy Home.

On Wednesday, 16 December 2009, at 5:30 p.m., Their Honours will host a Christmas Reception at Government House for invited guests.

On Thursday, 17 December 2009, at 12:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Luncheon at Government House for invited guests in honour of Valerie Pike, President of the Canadian Association of Second Language Teachers.

On Friday, 18 December 2009, at 7:30 p.m., Their Honours will attend Kittiwake Dance Theatre’s annual production of The Nutcracker at the Arts and Culture Centre.
