On Sunday, 7 September 2008, at 10:00 a.m., Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will participate in the 2008 St. John’s Winners Walk of Hope at Bowring Park. Her Honour will cut the ribbon to start the walk.

On Thursday, 11 September 2008, at 12 noon, His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour will attend a reception at the Capital Hotel to mark the publication of John Lawrence Reynolds’ book ONE HELL OF A RIDE How Craig Dobbin Built the World’s Largest Helicopter Company. His Honour will be a guest speaker.
