On Monday, 13 October 2008, at 11:00 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will join the Royal Newfoundland Regiment in St. Mary’s for a Ceremony during which His Honour will be installed as Honorary Colonel of The Royal Newfoundland Regiment.

On Wednesday, 15 October 2008, at 7:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will host a Dinner at Government House for recipients of honorary degrees of the 2008 Fall Convocation of Memorial University of Newfoundland, and other invited guests.
Thursday, 16 October 2008
On Thursday, 16 October 2008, at 3:00 p.m., Their Honours will host a Reception for invited guests at Government House to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Newfoundland Writers’ Guild.
At 7:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend a Reception in honour of General Rick J. Hillier (Retired) at the Fisheries and Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland.

On Friday, 17 October 2008, at 10:00 a.m., Their Honours will attend the Installation of General Rick J. Hillier (Retired) as the Sixth Chancellor of Memorial University at the morning session of Convocation at the Arts and Culture Centre.
At 12:15 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the President’s Convocation Luncheon at R. Gushue Hall, Memorial University.
