On Tuesday, 27 May 2008, at 8:00 a.m., His Honour the Honourable John C. Crosbie, Lieutenant Governor of Newfoundland and Labrador, will attend a breakfast honouring the Chancellor’s Award Nominees, at R. Gushue Hall, Memorial University.
At 2:30 p.m.,The Lieutenant Governor, Patron of the Newfoundland and Labrador Book Awards, will present the 2008 Writers' Alliance Book Awards at a Ceremony at Government House. Following the Ceremony, he and Her Honour Jane Furneaux Crosbie will host a Reception for recipients and invited guests.

On Wednesday, 28 May 2008, at 10:00 a.m., at 10:00 a.m., Their Honours will attend the morning session of the Spring 2008 Convocation of the Memorial University of Newfoundland at the Arts and Culture Centre.
At 3:00 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the afternoon session of Convocation at the Arts and Culture Centre.
At 7:00 p.m., Their Honours will host a Dinner at Government House for the recipients of honorary degrees at Memorial University’s Spring 2008 Convocation, and other invited guests.

On Thursday, 29 May 2008, at 10:00 a.m., the Lieutenant Governor and Mrs. Crosbie will attend the morning session of Convocation at the Arts and Culture Centre.
At 3:00 p.m., Their Honours will attend the afternoon session of Convocation at the Arts and Culture Centre.
At 5:30 p.m., The Lieutenant Governor will receive at Government House Brigadier-General R.G. Parsons, OMM, CD, Commander Land Forces Atlantic Area.
